Enhanced and optimized visual merchandising kit for wholesale retailers

 

We were contracted to re-imagine the wholesale visual merchandising program for John Hardy during a rebrand. Our scope included design development to enhance in-store brand visibility, optimize kit components for ease of use, and equip teams with the tools to maintain visual compliance across global markets. To achieve this, we built upon the existing program by developing key display forms to add height, visual interest, and better showcase the jewelry, while integrating product signage and brand color.

Working closely with the John Hardy team and a selected production vendor, we then sourced custom materials, developed and approved prototypes, and created a recommended kit of parts scaled to shop square footage. We also managed production, oversaw the vendor, and served as the brand liaison throughout rollout.

The John Hardy team also leveraged our expertise in product styling and merchandising assortment reviews to develop both evergreen and seasonal guidelines for the new program. We handled everything from product setup and photography to editing, copywriting, and document creation — ensuring consistent, high-standard in-store installation.

The display program launched as a 10-store test in early 2024, where test stores saw sales increase and generated over $75K in incremental retail sales MTD (month to date) vs. LY (last year). Based on the success, an all-door rollout was planned for Q1 2025.
