MEJURI VM PROGRAM
Rhythmic and approachable display concept for effortless discovery
The Mejuri team brought us in to answer a deceptively simple question: how do you make jewelry the hero while building a display program that's unmistakably Mejuri? We began with competitive research, executive interviews, and a full audit of the existing visual merchandising, which informed the design of a future state that would reduce visual noise and ease the customer's self-led shopping journey while preserving Mejuri's approachable try-on experience. Design development centered on two brand icons: Charlotte and Dôme. Charlotte's ribbed texture became the basis for a modular display system, turning repetition into the design language itself — rhythmic, orderly, and easy to browse. To balance that structure, we layered in organic forms inspired by Dôme's fluid, sculptural shapes, punctuating the displays with curated styling moments that spark discovery. The concept was validated through a series of planograms and product count studies, as well as a test-and-learn phase of foamcore mockups.
Then we partnered with the production vendor through prototyping: redlining technical drawings, selecting materials, and reviewing physical samples before approving forms for a test store. A year into the project, the test store was installed, and we walked the space with Mejuri's executive team before tracking performance over the following months. The results spoke for themselves: a positive shift in total store sales and a +40% lift in conversion during test period, alongside an increase in display satisfaction scores from customer surveys — informing a rollout now in motion across additional Mejuri locations.
